Stout led the Mountain Sunrise Academy project in Saratoga Springs, Utah, partnering from the earliest stages to guide the design within budget and plan for future expansion. The 40,000-square-foot, wood-frame facility is tailored for hands-on learning, featuring a culinary classroom and commercial kitchen, art and music rooms, a library, a language learning classroom, and flexible space for new programs as the academy grows.

Designed around Waldorf education principles, the school incorporates abundant natural light, outdoor gardens, and inviting gathering spaces to nurture creativity and holistic development. Stout’s collaborative approach ensured the building supports the academy’s educational mission while delivering lasting value and adaptability for the Saratoga Springs community.
